THIS IS ARGUABLY AMONG THE BEST INDIANS EVER BUILT - THE kings MOUNTAIN YEARS - The quality of the Kings Mountain Indians is far superior to the current mass market bikes built by Polaris. I\\\'m not saying the Polaris Indians are bad bikes - quite the contrary. But I\\\'ve ridden both, I\\\'ve seen them side by side, and IMHO there\\\'s simply no comparison. The base MSRP on this eal saddle quality leather - not the plastic/vinyl looking material they use today. Look at the trim. The Kings Mountain era was not trying to appeal to the mass market but rather the motorcycle connoisseur willing to pay a premium for a premium product. Each Kings Mountain bike and engine was actually HAND BUILT from start to finish. The attention to detail and the pride of the craftsmen evident in producing something of this calibre is readily recognizable when you see the bike in person - and especially evident when you place it next to the current crop of mass produced Polaris bikes. This bike is one of the first Kings Mountain bikes built - it\\\'s #16. And it has less than 2400 miles on her. Don\\\'t get me wrong - I love to ride - I\\\'ve got 4 bikes - but this bike is art and it\\\'s been cared for like art. Everything on this bike is original Kings Mountain Indian - nothing is after-market. It rides like new - and as far as its looks - well - the pictures speak for themselves. Be prepared to turn heads.
